The acar eco plus helps to save several hundred kWh of electricity per year without any effort on your part. It takes just a minute to make all connections and the acar eco plus every day will remember to turn off the unused energy consuming appliances, protecting the green resources of our planet. After turning off the main appliance (connected to the MASTER socket outlet) the acar eco plus detects a drop in energy consumption (programmable trip threshold) and automatically disconnects supply of appliances plugged into the SLAVE socket outlets. When the main appliance is switched on again and starts consuming current, the other appliances connected to the SLAVE socket outlets will also be supplied. Unlike the acar eco, the acar eco plus apart from one MASTER socket outlet and three SLAVE socket outlets is also equipped with two independent socket outlets allowing to connect the appliances requiring a continuous power supply. Additionally, the acar eco plus is equipped with a systems for short circuit protection and surge protection which increase safety of connected appliances.
